‘Teneritas’ significa ternura en latín. Y desde ahí surge este proyecto: la ternura emocional de un rayo de luz acariciando un rostro, un par de manos rodeando el cuerpo, el contacto sutil de una esfera de carne. Pero también la suavidad física en todo aquello que es discreto, las emociones crudas, la intensidad y la esperanza de que la ternura cubra mi cuerpo elusivo.

Esta serie es una combinación de arte análogo, experimental y especulativo. Primero, las imágenes originales fueron generadas a traves de inteligencia artificial, usando obra previa del propio autor como referencia. Así se produjeron los negativos digitales y se hizo la impresión con la técnica de lumen print (impresiones por contacto directo en papel fotosensible).

'Teneritas' means tenderness in latin. And this is what inspires me: the emotional tenderness of a lightbeam stroking my face, of a couple of hands embracing, of the gentle touch of a sphere of flesh. But also the physical softness of everything that's subtle, the raw emotions, the intensity and the hope for the tenderness to cover my ellusive body, the illusion of you and me.

This serie is a combination of digital, analogue, experimental and speculative art: first, the original images were generated through an AI platform, using some of my own previous work as reference. Then, were produced to digital negatives and printed in the lumen print technique. Some of the images have some turmeric powder. The exception is the middle image, the sphere of flesh: it was actually made with common body cream, pressed between two glasses, in order for the shape and texture to be formed. Then, it was printed as a lumen print.
